Federation Elections – Could You Be a Rep?

Could you help your friends and colleagues in their time of need?

Officers need the Federation for many reasons.  People often think it’s just for misconduct and performance but far more officers use the federation for advice about welfare, pensions, police regulations, shift rosters, sickness, injuries on and off duty, equality and health and safety, to name just a few.

In July, we will be holding elections for workplace Federation Reps across the MPS.

You can find the role description of a workplace rep on our website or follow this link

Don’t worry if you think you’re not sure you will have the knowledge to do the job.  All new reps are given training to assist them to carry out their new role.

If you think you could take on the immensely satisfying role of helping colleagues, often when they need you most, please take a look at the role description.

More information on how to apply will be available closer to the elections.  Keep an eye on our website.
