There has been significant discussion in recent weeks following changes affecting Police Officers in the 1987 Pension Scheme, including reductions to retirement lump sums following a change to commutation factors.
While the changes came into effect last month, we know that many Officers are reviewing what this means for them and will have questions.
To help provide clarity, we’re hosting a special “Know Your Numbers” webinar on Tuesday 30th June from 10:00am to 11:30am.
The session will feature a presentation from Paul Turpin, Senior Pension Adviser to the Police Federation of England and Wales, who will explain the latest developments, what they will mean in practice, and some of the key considerations for Officers approaching retirement.
There will also be time for a live Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and hear expert insight on the recent changes and wider pension considerations.
All webinars are held online via Microsoft Teams and are completely free to attend.
