Colleagues in the British Transport Police Federation have launched a new film highlighting the demands of policing the nation's rail network and the experiences officers can carry long after a shift ends.
Britain’s railways never stop. Neither do the demands placed on the officers who police them.
Every day, millions of people travel across Britain’s rail network:
to work, to see family, to go out, to come home.
For most of us, it is simply a journey, but for British Transport Police officers,
that same network is a very different space.
10,000 miles of track.
3,000 stations.
6 million people on the railway every day.
It is Non-Stop.
We are sure that Met officers will be able to relate to this film
