The Metropolitan Police Federation are delighted to announce the election of our new Chair-Elect Paula Dodds.
Paula will take up post on the 1st of June.
Paula will become the first female Chair of the Metropolitan Police Federation in its 100+ year history.
Matt Cane, General Secretary of the Metropolitan Police Federation, said: "I am sure all police officers across London will join me in welcoming Paula to her new role and wishing her well.
"The job of representing and standing up for the welfare and wellbeing of all dedicated police officers in the Metropolitan Police has never been more vital and Paula will be key to this over the coming years.
"Not only will Paula be the first female Chair of the Metropolitan Police Federation we also now have a record number of Female Reps and colleagues from diverse backgrounds elected.
"We all look forward to working together in progressing the Federation and truly representing all our colleagues as they police tirelessly keeping London and Londoners safe."
